What is your safe zone? Do you have a place where you go to soak in life, contemplate life, be yourself…to just be?

For many in Barbados, that place is the Rum Shop, of which there are many. At the John Moore Rum Shop I watched and listened. Spirited conversations. Unfiltered laughter. Silence. Comradery. People just being. I was grateful for their trust and being let in to share.
